Peel back the layers

As I spin… and spin… and spin…

Unwind your tie and your time,

From around your neck,

Around your wrist,

With compliments and with kiss

As my heels hit the floor,

On my feet nevermore-grounded.

Bid farewell to your button-down;

Off with the cotton, the silk and wool blends.

Let us remain, just our words upon skin.
